Clairleigh Nursing Home was purchased by Mr and Mrs Bains on the 16th September 2011. We wish to say a good farewell to Norma and Maurice, the previous proprietors, who established and operated this beautiful home.
Mr and Mrs Bains have a similar sized home in Hertfordshire which they have operated for some ten years. It has been awarded an excellent rating by the Care Quality Commission. Although the standards at Clairleigh are very high, Mr and Mrs Bains want to raise them even higher. They have also stated that they will invest in the home and have recently enrolled on the Gold Standard Framework program which will enhance the care that we give to our Residents as well as further developing our Staff.
We are organising a cheese and wine evening for the 16th November 2011 so that Residents and their families can get together it will also be an opportunity to meet the new Owners.
The cheese and wine evening was a great success we will all look forward to the next event which will be the strawberry teas.
Clairleigh has in November been awarded 5 stars which is the highest rating achievable by the Environmental Health Team for our kitchin facilities.
